CENTRE FOR ADVANCED MATERIALS ENGINEERING RESEARCH AND APPLICATIONS (CAMERA)

 
 

Centre for Advanced Materials Engineering Research and Applications (CAMERA). Research center was established on 21st June 2012 at Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering and Technology under the Sri Balaji Educational and Charitable Public Trust. The centre opens it is research area under various multidisciplinary fields, which includes chemistry, physics, computational, biomedical, electrical, electronics, mechanical and etc.

 

The faculty members of the centre are Dr. P. Muralidharan*, Dean (R&D), Prof. K. B. Renukadevi, Dr. A. Jayaprakash, Dr. A. Srinivasan, Dr. T. Rani, Dr. Dooslin Mercy Bai from various Departments of the college. Also, the centre includes two research scholars.

 

Dr. P. Muralidharan*, Dean (R&D) is a recognized Ph.D supervisor at Department of Chemistry, Pondicherry University, Pondicherry and
Department of Chemistry, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore.

 

Prof. K. B. Renukadevi, Dr. A. Jayaprakash Department of Physics are recognized Ph.D supervisor, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore.

Development of lithium orthosilicate ceramic pebbles using one dimensional nanofiber with excess lithium concentration for the tritium breeding in test blanket module funded by Board of Research in Fusion Science & Technology (BRFST), Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India.

 

Development of novel oxygen ion conductors as solid electrolytes for intermediate temperature solid oxide fuel cells, funded Board of Research in Nuclear Science (BRNS), Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India.

 


Development of oxygen sensors using low temperature oxide-ion conducting solid electrolytes for ADS applications, funded Board of Research in Nuclear Science (BRNS), Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India.
